There is life in being Deafblind.

Sense International (India) has made special efforts to educate rural families and mothers about deafblindness. They have implemented Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) in rural areas where they have 82 community workers and trained professional to provide service and support to children. Presently they are serving about 500 deafblind children. In spite of the CBR’s, many families and parents are still unaware about deafblindness and the vaccination against rubella. Thus, the number of deafblindness is set to rise in rural areas! To reinforce this intention, the media plan for rural area awareness is conceptualised as follows:

Caritas being the only organization in Goa dealing with deafblind victims must be made known to the entire state. In order to make the public aware about deafblindness, every 27th June Sense Internal (India) and its partners commemorates Helen Keller Day by having an awareness seminar in every state. This year Caritas is having a public awareness programme where they will be screening a movie made by Sense International (India) on the challenges deafblind children are facing and how they have overcome them with the help of their services. First the masses should be aware about this event and how with their help (donation) they can save many more deafblind children through medications, educations and training facilities. The reader has to know what they deal with, the program schedule, date, venue, time. If they can identify with the similar problem they can avail of their facilities. The media plan for urban area awareness is conceptualised as follows:
